Simon Renaud is a Montreal based artist. Originally from Gatineau, epileptic part time, twin full time, he studied dance at The School of Dance in Ottawa. He worked as an interpreter for many companies and independent choreographers which gave him the opportunity to perform on a national and international scale. He had the pleasure to present his work in many events in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, New-Brunswick and New-Foundland. Simon was an artist in residency at LA SERRE – arts vivants in 2018. His work, l’inanité des bibelots got Andrew Hartley nominated for best masculine performance at the Dora Mavor Award. He is the recipiendary of a residency in Aarhus (Danemark) in March 2020, which was part of a collaboration between Circuit-Est and the Bora Bora Residency Center.
