Roxanne Dupuis is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, located in the unceded traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) and Mi’kmaq. Settled in Montreal since 2014, she divides her career between Quebec and l’Acadie. After her training at l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, she has collaborated with different companies and choreographers, such as Tim Casson (UK), Solène Bossu (France), Dana Gingras (Canada) and Stacey Désilier (Canada). In 2022, Roxanne presented her first piece PROTO-TYPE at Tangente, at Festival Quartiers Danses and during the FrancoFête in New Brunswick. As a member of La compagnie DansEncorps in Moncton, Roxanne performs in Respire par le nez, Résistance and Corps en 4 saisons, which are currently touring in the Maritimes. Roxanne is proud of her work within the Montreal and Acadian communities as a cultural mediator where she teaches to various publics and organizations.
