Artist and cultural manager, Karla Etienne has been working with Zab Maboungou/Compagnie Danse Nyata Nyata since 2003, and was part of the emblematic Mozongi. As a dancer, she has collaborated with George Stamos, Katya Montaignac, Sophie Corriveau and Priscilla Guy. Graduate in environment and cultural organizations management, Karla Etienne is the Executive Director of the Canadian Dance Association and guest curator of Mandoline Hybride. Her commitment to the renewal of cultural policies concerning equity in the arts is recognized in all aspects of practice, management, and dissemination in the responsible institutions, including the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
