Alexandre Wilhelm arrived in Montreal at the age of 8, which he now calls home, with a world to discover. From a very young age, hip-hop culture guided his steps. In 2009, he joined the popping group Dead Angle Crew. They participated in Montreal Jazz Fest, FrancoFolies, Igloofest, Just for Laughs Festival, as well as in the TV shows Danser pour gagner (Noovo) and Révolution (TVA). Obsessed with movement, Alexandre participates in several classes of various dance styles, including contemporary dance.
Alexandre participated in Nico Archambault’s TV show Ils Dansent (Radio-Canada). He there worked with numerous teachers and choreographers of international renown who encouraged the young artist to diversify and surpass himself through both technical and personal challenges. Alexandre is a passionate artist who distinguishes himself by his ability to improvise, his artistic sensitivity, his creativity and his multiple movement skills. Alexandre has pursued his self-taught path by creating works such as Montréalité (presented at the Soirées 100Lux) and by participating in several creations, including Pythagore mon corps by Stacey Désilier, Distracted by Saxon Fraser, Fil Rouge by Emmanuelle LePhan (Tentacle Tribe), Sky Dancers : Bridges by Barbara Diabo, and Le Sacre de Lila by Destins Croisés.
