After several years of developing its expertise in Montreal, the organization is now rolling out its workshops in Quebec City, supported by a partnership with La Rotonde, a contemporary dance company known for its commitment to cultural outreach. 

Working with the administrative and development department of Montréal Danse and in direct contact with the dancer-facilitators and shelters, the Dance Against Violence Coordinator will be responsible for multiple tasks related to workshop coordination, development, and fundraising.

For DCV, each new partnership is a human encounter that broadens our circle of solidarity. In 2024-2025, three organizations joined our initiative: the Montreal Women’s Y, CALACS Trêve pour Elles, and La Rotonde in Quebec City.

As part of Week for Victims and Survivors of Crime, we will co-create a rare space: the Debout workshop, the result of a committed collaboration between the Restorative Justice Service Center, the Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec and the CALACS Trêve pour Elles.
