Originally from Toronto, Brianna Lombardo completed her professional training at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. As a freelance dancer, she collaborated with Michael Trent and Matjash Mrozewski in Toronto before arriving in Montreal to work with Isabelle Van Grimde and joined Jean Pierre Perreault’s JOE in 2004, before joining joining O Vertigo from 2004 to 2010. Since re-entering the as a freelance artist, she has worked in close collaboration with Mélanie Demers, Frédérick Gravel, Martin Messier and Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, as well as
Daniel Léveillé, Jaques Poulin-Denis, Sasha Ivanochko, and most recently Helen Simard and Parts & Labour Danse. At the same time, she teaches yoga and interpretation at UQAM and the repertoire of Mayday danse and Frédérick Gravel, and as a
with long-term collaborators.
