style=\"font-weight: 300;\"><strong>ASIDE<\/strong> is an experimental video created by Marie B\u00e9land, assisted by Mathilde Geromin. Inspired from the RADIOMATON installation co-authored by Marie and Simon Laroche, ASIDE exposes the dysfunction experienced by both adolescents and elders as they navigate the various frequencies of reality, at times overlapping and at times colliding. Each person thus becomes a reflection of the pervasive desire to communicate with others. While RADIOMATON explores ambient noise, ASIDE shifts this exploration to the silent noise within us.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5fb79ec1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5fb79ec1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">PRODUCTION<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab46a8c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ab46a8c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-875d8fe elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"875d8fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\"><div class=\"elementor-widget-container\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In 2008,<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0Marie B\u00e9land<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0took part in Montr\u00e9al Danse\u2019s Choreographic Research Workshop. This encounter between Marie B\u00e9land and Kathy Casey initiated an artistic complicity, a common language and a work complementarity, which led to a series of successful collaborations and the embodiment of the conceptual structures underlying their creations together. This synergy has resulted in three co-productions with Montr\u00e9al Danse:\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>BETWEEN<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0(2015),\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>BESIDE<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0(2019) and\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>RADIOMATON<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0(2022). The audience is invited to question the systems that govern our society and to observe our ways of being together.
