Justin de Luna is a queer dancer based in Tiohti\u00e0:ke \/ Mooniyang (Montr\u00e9al). His practice moves thought through the body, treating choreography as pedagogy \u2014 a space to metabolize new information and exercise a will to change. Originally from Toronto, Justin holds a BFA in Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University and performed two seasons with Toronto Dance Theatre before relocating to Montr\u00e9al in 2017. He has since worked with artists such as Clara Furey, Raja Feather Kelly, and Malik Nashad Sharpe, and co-curated Studio 303\u2019s Queer Performance Camp (2021\u20132023) with Winnie Ho. Alongside his artistic work, Justin engages in care-centered practices including rehearsal direction, movement coaching, dramaturgy, and curation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
