Trained at UQ\u00c0M, S\u00e9bastien works in contemporary dance as a performer and choreographer. He has been an associate member of the company Lorganisme since 2020. Since graduating, he has created Children of Chemistry<\/em> (2017), Deux Squelettes<\/em> (2019), and is currently working on two new co-creations Bones&Wires<\/em> (2020) and What Will Come<\/em> (2020). His creations have been presented in Quebec (Agora de la danse, Tangente Danse, ZH Festival), Ontario (Citadel + Compagnie, Dance Matters) and France.<\/p>\n

As a performer, he works between Montreal and Toronto and has danced for Louise B\u00e9dard, George Stamos, Manon Oligny, Helen Simard, Emmanuel Jouthe, Sasha Kleinplatz, Martin Messier, Ma\u00efgwenn Desbois, DA Hoskins\/Dietrich Group, Riley Sims\/Social Growl Dance and Marie Lambin.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9bastien Provencher is interested in interdisciplinarity, in hybrid forms of performance at the border of several disciplines, where the body and movement are at the heart of the artistic proposal. He is interested in living art as an object of socio-political commitment. He proposes a choreographic art that confronts, questions and moves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
